Is Microsoft doing too much. Shouldn't they concentrate on Windows instead?

yes bill gates is too rich!

supertanker- 05-06-2005

I'm not saying anything untill they come out with Halo 3. :)

ryan444123- 05-06-2005

unlikely to happen. might but i don't think they are going to.

Darn it, they had better. The ending was such a cliffhangar, and I found a hidden "Prophet Rocket" introduction to Halo 3. At least, I think thats what it is.

Yeah, but if they weren't fiddling around with XBOX and/or other stuff, they could make an almost-perfect Windows and charge $1000 for it.

The Tormentor- 05-07-2005

So When they charge $1000 for who in their right mind would buy it.

JSL- 05-07-2005

Anyone who is sick of Windows XP and its intermittent problems, or just those who demand maximum reliability (like businesses). Or just those who buy a new computer, OEMs can get Windows cheaper than those who buy it off the shelf.

If I was to buy an awesome new machine, sure! Not for my 4 year old system that I have now.

The Tormentor- 05-07-2005

Well I think the person who buys it for $1000 should have their head examined.

JSL- 05-07-2005

They can then use XP as a cheaper alternative. Windows 2006 can then be free to be the Ultimate Windows!

The Tormentor- 05-07-2005

I think you should check in at the nearest mental hospital ASAP. LOL

I still use "Windoze" 98, because its reliable.
